Robin Lake Beach is open seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Gardens Admission is required to visit and includes access to the beach. Outside of seasonal operations, the beach, trails, and picnic areas remain accessible to resort guests, Season Passholders, and Callaway Resort & Gardens visitors. Swimming is only permitted when lifeguards are on duty.
Yes. Robin Lake is a natural body of water that is tested weekly for guest safety. If third-party testing indicates water levels do not meet safety standards, the lake will be temporarily closed for water activities until results confirm it is safe to reopen. Should a closure be necessary, information will be available on the website, on social media, at the beach and gate entry, and by calling 1-800-CALLAWAY.

The open-air Beach Bar features cold beers, mixed drinks, and daily specials. The Lakeview Bar is also open each day of beach operations. Picnic tables are reserved for dining patrons only.

Callaway Resort & Gardens welcomes trained service animals in accordance with the ADA and Georgia state law. Emotional support, comfort, and therapy animals are not permitted. Service animals may accompany their handlers on the beach and surrounding areas but are not permitted in the water or designated swimming areas per Georgia public health regulations. Service animals must remain leashed and under the handler's control at all times.

Metal detectors are permitted on the beach with the following guidelines: metal detecting cannot interfere with the enjoyment of other guests; metal detectors are not permitted on special event days including Memorial Day weekend, July 4 weekend, Labor Day weekend, New Year's Eve, and Symphony on the Sand; all holes must be filled in; all items found must be turned in to Callaway Safety; Callaway reserves the right to disallow metal detecting at any time.

Picnic tables in the Robin Lake Pavilion and Cabana Bar are reserved for dining patrons only. Grilling and picnicking are permitted in the Pine Needle Point picnic area on the west side of Robin Lake Beach only. Robin Lake Beach does not supply beach towels but they may be purchased on site.
